This is a current project we’re working on. I was given the lead on redesigning this lobby in a downtown Seattle apartment building. The existing lobby is out of date, and the furnishing are out of scale for the space. You can see my Sketch Up renderings for my take. The client wanted a balance between a cozy home feel, and a luxury hotel lobby. So I played off of the idea of a tete-a-tete sofa, but with two completely separate spaces.
I’ll post pics of the final project once done.
This is my most recent project. It’s a fully-furnished modern rental home owned by a client in San Francisco. He needed a local Seattle designer to design all of the rooms with a fresh look for his guest. I procured and installed everything in the home on a very tight budget.
This was filmed during a large Biznik event.
There’s lots more that I’ve done up to that point, but those are the highlights.
Currently I work with a great small design and decorating company called Visionart here in Seattle. We’re primarily known for our large-scale Holiday decor that we’ve done for clients such as the Seattle Space Needle, and the Tulalip Resort and Casino. But we do a ton of other projects throughout the year.
I’m the Project Manager for our home staging department. We are the primary stagers for local home builder, CamWest. It’s a great, engaging account. I’ll be posting highlights on here.
My passion, however, is helping individual people bring light and life into their own spaces. I sincerely believe that everyone deserves a space that is clean, lively, and truly their own.
I’ve written 11 points to a great space. Many of them are not new, but it’s a great guildline to start from.
On this same vein, I actually had my own radio show for awhile talking about all the tips to designing your own space.
I’ll be posting highlights from all this as we go along!
Project: Fun home mural project.
As a homeowner, I sort of use my own space as a desin lab. This was one of my successes. The mural was inspired by a photo in Interior Design magazine. The colors are all leftovers from all other rooms in the house.
